We are located in Dunbar, East Lothian and from there, we work throughout Scotland and Northern England.
We specialise in rural and sustainable design, but continue to welcome commissions in urban areas having worked extensively in Edinburgh.

John Brennan is a chartered architect who established the practice in 1996 and was selected by the Architecture Foundation for inclusion in its exhibition and publication - 'New Architects - A Guide to Britain's best young architectural practices.' John has collaborated with James Turrell in the design of his Kinloch Rannoch Skyspace and lectures at the University of Edinburgh in Environmental and Sustainable Design
Julie is a chartered architect and was an Associate with LDN Architects in Edinburgh. There she worked primarily on large arts projects including Liverpool Museum and the Walker Art Gallery. She also worked with Gaia Architects gaining experience in ecological building design and has a MSc that researched sustainable urban housing. She brings to the office skills in gallery and museum design, renovation of historic buildings and environmental housing.
