3 Primrosehill Cottages originated in the agricultural improvements of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The cottages were abandoned in the 1960's, still with no internal sanitation or water supply. Completed in June 2006, the building's external appearance is changed as little as possible to ensure it merges well into an established landscape. The restoration provides an insulated and reconfigured set of internal space suited to modern living requirements and the demands of energy efficiency.
